Dear Journal;

So much has happened today. Just as I said would happen the czar has been overthrown, thanks God. A giant revolution, men in the streets, running everywhere. Many men lost their lives today in conflicts between the troops, but what a glorious day for all of Russia none the less. At last the reign Romanov Dynasty has ended, and thankfully despite the loss of lives it had happened as peacefully as anyone could hope. I certainly don’t see what other route we could have taken. January 9, 1924 Petrograd

Dear Journal;

I have grown old over the years. Were has the time gone? A full life I have lived, here in Russia. I have been affected and shaped right along side of my country. Many things have changed me, everything from my fathers in 1886 death to Lenin’s death 1922, but nothing has affected me as much as the happenings of January 22 1905 when my beloved brother Viktor was killed. I swore on that day I would live to see the end of The Czar and I have accomplished that. Read more
