Dear Journal;
Another great day for Russia has come upon us, Lenin has returned, and none too soon if you ask me. The people long for his words “land, bread and peace” has become his motto. He promises things we have not seen since 1983, when I was still just a boy, and I know he will do what it takes to deliver these to us.
It is as if we are the same person. I have not heard a statement of Lenin’s that I do not completely agree with. His message to the soviets saying “absolute lack of confidence”, referring to the provisional government and calling for “no support to the new government”. He knows they are weak, and without vision. He knows that the soviets must have control, and he sees big changes coming soon.
His presence alone has made me sleep easier, as I know it has for so many. Alexandra and Kehkro invited us over for dinner on the 5th to join them and Kehkros parents in celebration of Lenin’s return. I have seen the joy on many a face over the past day, a face of hope.
Many say Lenin will not last; that the provisional government will arrest him before he can do anything, I say let them try. russian revolution They would not dare as with him here alone their once sturdy position has begun to sway. Having him arrested would surely start another string of riots, and no one wants that.
It wont be long now, Lenin will take over with his sincere promises of all that everyone desires. “Land, bread and peace”, I cannot get it off my tongue. canadain currency It is all about the future of Russia that, I know will be a bright one. We are still lagging behind the modern inventions and industrialization of Europe, but soon, as I have said before, we will realize the full potential and be were we belong as the greatest super power in the world.
I still fear that the government may not fall as easily as some say but we’ll survive, we always do.
Alexander
